- Tempering / Heat strengthening As Per Work order Important:- Read the Work order Carefully before Starting the Production if you found any problem immediately inform to Shift supervisor / production planning & Control incharge
- To give training to the helpers about Glass Tempering & Heat Strengthening & Handling requirement.
- To ensure availability of Washed Glass For Tempering / Heat Strength in the shift as per Production Planning Schedule.
- Reporting of Operation & Quality Related data for analysis to superior.
- To ensure Tempering /Heat strengthening M/C, Tools, racks, trolleys & Working area are maintained as per 5-S
- To ensure M/C Running Smoothly without any Delay.
- To check the glass for visual defects like Size, Stones, Coating, chips ,scratches , etc While Tempering
- To check the glass for visual defects like Waviness, bend, chips ,scratches , etc After Tempering
- To work in shifts as per the shift schedule
- To review the Work Order on daily basis and ensure required Consumables are available for Tempering /Heat Strengthening .If any problem is there co-ordinate with Production manager/Production planning & Control Incharge.
- Conduct previous day process rejected glasses disposed off properly after getting written approval of Shift Supervisor & Production manager on Red Tag Disposal Sheet.
- To ensure that full qty of glasses in order are Tempered / Heat strengthen and handed over to next process with the internal process transfer & Signature.
- To ensure necessary information properly communicated to both shift by using Internal process Transfer Log book.
